What are the best health insurance options for retired pre-medicare folks?

Sunday, August 9th, 2009
A few of my friends have a man who is now age 65 soon to be getting Medicare coverage, while his wife is not yet 65, so she does not qualify for Medicare or for the COBRA option of her spouse’s former employer. Are there any programs for her to not have to pay for health insurance entirely out of pocket?

my mother is coming to the US for the first time she is 61. How can I provide health insurance for her?

She is a permanent resident with no work history in the US. What type of health insurance and benefits apply to her? Will she be eligible for Medicare/Medicaid benefits? I was wondering if there is anybody out there with the same experience. How did they deal with any medical problems. How do I start the process?

What health insurance options are available to someone who has health problems and needs insurance?

I am in desperate need to help my mother find insurance. Her cobra ended a few months ago, and she has a lot of health problems which makes her “not insurable” I know there has to be some program out there, she has been informed of medicare and they told her they would take over her assets (she has very little left to retire on, but can’t afford them to take what is there) can anyone suggest anything or provide more detail for medicare? I really appreciate it!
