Is it wrong that the top priority of Health Insurance Companies is to make a Profit?

Should Profit be their main objective or should it be providing good health care to you and me? Don’t these priorities conflict?

If I support Obama’s plan of moving closer towards universal health care coverage why I are republicans claiming I am in favor of the Government running my life….I just want good health care coverage and not to be screwed around by my own health insurance providor.

Now, I’ve read posts on this board where people claim that they have excellent health insurance. My question to those of you that do, do you have to pay a portion of the premiums or does your employer pay for it all. ALSO, do you have anyone in your family who has a chronic or life threatening illness or disability? You don’t have to say what it is, but how is that working out for you and your family?

How many Americans that claim they cant afford to pay for their own health insurance?

could if they didn’t have an insane car loan & cable TV, cell phone, fast food, beer, weed, etc to pay for?

They say there are 47 million in the US without health insurance couldn’t a good portion afford it if the wanted to?

Shouldn’t people just get their priorities straight?
I am 52 and pay $300 a month for Blue Cross for myself. Its not a thousand dollars a month.

Where are all of the small companies that will be required to supply health insurance for workers going to get?

Who’s going to pay for the unemployed health insurance?

This is like Hillary Care ll. Back when Bill was elected she said that they couldn’t be responsible for all of the under capitalized small businesses out there and they would just have to close their doors if they couldn’t afford to provide health insurance for its workers.

Whats more important in this economy: health insurance for children or a buck in a smoker’s pocket?
