I am concerned about a friend of mine. I think he’s suffering from malnourishment. He has no appetite, sleeps sporadically, and he has developed verbal ticks. He’s 6′2″ and 120lbs. He does not live in a supportive home environment. He has no health insurance and no means to pay for treatment. I also think that he has a mental illness that has never been professionally diagnosed. Where can I take him?

I am 26 years old, married (although my husband has his own insurance – too expensive for me to join), and on ortho evra birth control patch (not sure which tier this is on). Her cobra ended a few months ago, and she has a lot of health problems which makes her “not insurable” I know there has to be some program out there, she has been informed of medicare and they told her they would take over her assets (she has very little left to retire on, but can’t afford them to take what is there) can anyone suggest anything or provide more detail for medicare?
